About Pillars Career Advising
Pillars Career Advising, founded in 2015, helps individuals discover and achieve their career goals through lifelong planning and development.
Led by Rasha Abul Nasr, who has over 30 years of experience in the local and Middle East markets — including 19 years in training needs analysis, blended learning, leadership development, and coaching — Pillars is dedicated to guiding people toward professional growth and success.
Rasha Abul Nasr began her training career at the Arab Academy for Science & Technology after earning her Master’s in Business in 2003, teaching “Strategic Management” for MBA students for five years.
Driven by her passion for helping others find happiness in their careers, she earned a Train of Trainers (T.O.T) certification from the World Bank in 2006 and became a certified assessor. In 2015, she found her true calling — guiding others to discover their career paths.
She began working with schools, applying specialized methods to help students choose subjects and majors aligned with their personalities. Seeing how many struggled with career choices, job transitions, and CV writing, she developed career coaching capsule sessions to help participants understand themselves, define their goals, build professional CVs, and prepare for the job market.
Her dedication to people’s growth earned her a Professional Career Certificate from the world’s leading career development association, NCDA.
She is an NCDA FCD Instructor, delivering the Facilitating Career Development (FCD) program, which equips individuals with the skills and knowledge to guide others in career planning and achieving meaningful work.
Upon completing the FCD training, participants become eligible for the CCSP (Certified Career Services Provider) credential — qualifying them to work in roles such as career coach, job search trainer, HR development coordinator, or workforce development specialist.
